These Payment Terms explain the payment methods accepted by Itrookie, how payments are processed, pricing and tax information, payment security, and other payment-related information for purchases made through www.itrookie.com.
1. Payment Security
Payment and billing information is protected through Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) encryption during transmission.
Transactions are securely processed through Shopify and the payment provider selected at checkout. Complete credit card and debit card information is processed by the payment provider and is not stored on the Itrookie website or servers.
Payment transactions are authorized and processed through the secure checkout on www.itrookie.com.

3. Payment Process

4. Payment Confirmation
After successful payment, an order confirmation email is sent to the email address provided during checkout.
The confirmation email includes the order number and purchase details.
5. Pricing, Currency, Shipping, and Taxes
Currency
All prices displayed on the website are listed in United States Dollars (USD).
If your payment account is in a currency other than USD, your bank, card issuer, or payment provider may apply currency conversion rates or international transaction fees. These fees are determined and charged by the financial institution or payment provider and are not charged by Itrookie.
Pricing
The total amount displayed at checkout includes the product price, discounts, and sales tax charged for the order.
Customers can review the complete order total before submitting payment.
Shipping
Itrookie provides free standard shipping on all orders shipped within the United States.
There is no standard shipping fee added to qualifying U.S. orders at checkout.
Sales Tax
Sales tax is calculated at checkout based on the shipping destination and tax requirements for the order.
The sales tax amount is displayed before the customer submits payment.
6. Order Verification
Orders may be reviewed before processing to help prevent unauthorized transactions and payment fraud.
If payment or billing information cannot be verified, we may contact the customer using the contact information provided with the order.
An order will not proceed when payment authorization cannot be completed.
If an order is canceled after payment has been captured, the payment will be refunded to the original payment method in accordance with our Refund Policy.

Payments for online orders are accepted only through the official checkout on www.itrookie.com.
Itrookie will not request payment for an online order through personal payment accounts, direct messages, or unofficial payment links.

Itrookie may update these Payment Terms to reflect changes to our payment procedures, website operations, or legal requirements.
